Use an automation template

Start from a ready-made workflow instead of a blank canvas.


If you'd rather not build a workflow from scratch, Mailbo includes templates — pre-built automations for common goals that you can drop in and customise.

Start from a template

  1. Go to Automations.
  2. Click Templates (next to New automation).
  3. Browse the available templates and pick one that matches your goal (e.g. a welcome flow, a re-engagement flow).
  4. Create an automation from it — it opens in the Builder pre-filled with trigger and steps.

Make it yours

A template is a starting point, not a finished product. Before activating:

  • Edit each Send email step — replace the placeholder copy with your own, set real subjects, add your links.
  • Check the trigger — make sure it starts on the right event (the tag, list or signup you actually use).
  • Adjust waits and branches — tune the timing and conditions to your audience.

Save your own as templates

Built a workflow you'll reuse? In the automation builder, click Save as template to add it to your templates list — handy if you run similar flows for different lists or products.

Then activate

As with any automation, it starts Paused. Test it on yourself, then flip it to Active.
