Connect Mailgun

Mailgun is a friendly, reliable provider that's a great all-round choice for marketing email.

SMTP settings at a glance

⚠️ Region matters. If you created your domain in Mailgun's EU region, you must use smtp.eu.mailgun.org. US domains use smtp.mailgun.org. Using the wrong one is the #1 cause of login failures.

Step 1 — Add & verify your domain

1. In Mailgun: Sending → Domains → Add New Domain.
2. Mailgun shows DNS records — SPF (TXT), DKIM (TXT), and an optional tracking CNAME. Add them at your DNS host.
3. Click Verify. (DNS can take up to 24–48 hours.)

A new account also has a sandbox domain that only emails up to 5 authorized recipients — use your own verified domain for real sending.

Step 2 — Get your SMTP credentials

1. Sending → Domains → click your domain → SMTP credentials tab.
2. The default login is postmaster@your-domain.com.
3. Click Reset Password, set or generate a password (the new password is shown once — copy it immediately).

Step 3 — Paste into Mailbo

1. Settings → SMTP & sending → click the Mailgun tile.
2. Sender: From email (on your domain) + From name.
3. Credentials: Username = postmaster@your-domain.com, Password = the SMTP password from Step 2. Pick the matching region if asked.
4. Save, then Send test email.
