Update your sender name and reply-to address
Control the "from" name and where replies go.
The sender details are what your subscribers see in their inbox — the name an email comes from, and where their replies land. You set these once, and every campaign and sequence uses them by default.
Where to find them
- Go to Settings → SMTP & sending.
- Find the Sender box.
The three fields
- From email — the address your emails are sent from, e.g.
hello@yourbrand.com. It must be on a domain you've verified with your sending provider. - From name — the friendly name shown in the inbox, e.g. "Acme Newsletter" or "Sarah from Acme." People decide whether to open partly based on this — use a name they recognise.
- Reply-to (optional) — where replies go if it's different from the from address. Leave it blank to receive replies at the from email.
Click Save.
Overriding per campaign
These are your defaults. On a specific campaign's Sender step you can override the from name, from email and reply-to just for that send — handy when a particular email should come from a person rather than your brand.
Tips
- Use a real, monitored reply-to. People will reply; sending from a
no-reply@address that bounces replies hurts engagement and your reputation. - Keep the from name consistent so subscribers recognise you at a glance.
